Why Chi Rho Coffee?
What began as a small coffee hobby—roasting coffee in a rigged electric popcorn popper on my front porch—has turned into a passion. I only knew coffee as a bitter liquid pick-me-up…something akin to burnt water, if that were possible. To my surprise, the coffee bean can be transformed into a cup full of extraordinary flavor profiles, much like a glass of wine or a thoughtfully created meal. Now I enjoy roasting Chi Rho (Key Row) coffee beans in my backyard with my four boys and my wife often hanging around under the lights of our backyard patio.
